had to take another break from that forever project i've been working on...
nostalgia somehow struck me, and decided to just draw good ol deathlok. i still have stacks of McDuffie and Cowan's incredible run on the title. i liked the concept so much because it did something very different in a time where the xmen and teen titans were all the rage. although the concept might be void by today's standards, but i still hold Marvel's Terminator pretty close to heart. plus it had the wonderful Denys Cowan doing magick on the artside. his, along with Larry Stroman really emanated with so much fluidity and distinction. i loved how they used blacks and all those blocky forms. man, i gotta start digging up my old x-factor books as well.
hope you enjoy the lil piece. got to get back to that dang project now! see you in a few!
hmmm...i think that'll be a tough order. seeing as how Deathlok's got that other half...the A.I. system. so, it'll still be a battle for total control of the zombified body.
and also...a zombie ghost rider?! it was silly the first time i heard it. here we have a total demon out of hell...made nothing more than hellfire. how can he be zombified in the first place? wouldn't it be that when a zombie bites him, that particular zombie should get razed on by the flames of hell and be turned to nothing more than scum ash?!
Ah, you think too much. It's zombies, zombies can do everything. (They could even end all of the world's problems within a couple of days. Although few would like their solution...)
man, you're quite the ZOMBIE fan, aren't you. hahaha!!! i'm telling you, they should put out an army of werewolves next. i mean, first we had the vampire plague, then the zombies...i think it's time for some good ol Lycanthropy to join in.
Not really... I mean, back when it first came out, the Magneto-buffet-scene really shocked me. I hadn't seen a Zombie movie until then and I still find them creepy in a not-so-good way.
The thing with werewolves, in my eyes, is that they are far trickier to pull off... but I bet I could think of something
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

But Deathlok would be zombiefied as well. I mean, if they can zombiefy Ghost Rider, then anything goes.
And the art is great (not that it needs pointing out at this point
