Had the good fortune of being interviewed recently for High Profile magazine (published in the Philippines, released globally), and it was wonderful to talk bout the local comics scene. Props to Mr. Marco Vendetti for the wonderful photo! Appering in the article is my ZVR pin-up from IDW's ZVR:Aventures #1 released last Feb 2010.

Fellow comics creators :iconbudjette: and :iconpfab: are featured in the issue. interestingly, all 3 of us have advertising as primary professions, and doing comics whenever the bosses aren't looking. hahaha!

Hope you folks can grab a copy of High Profile issue no.6, Summer 2010, sporting a very luscious Ms. Georgina Wilson on the cover. Available in all fine bookshops everywhere.

PS: again, i have the luck of having a beautiful-sexy lady on the cover....whatta wonderful world!!!

no problem. oh and one of the first things I usually advice people who want to pursue comics is to just do what you want to do, don't be afraid to be different and to experiment. a lot of folks kasi tend to copy certain, more famous styles...so they end up being 1-dimensional. best way to go bout it is, if you have any specific artists or approaches you like, pick up what make them strong and build on that. at least early on your career you already have a spark of identity going on.

try to explore other styles as well, and not just the mainstream. i myself am not too fond of the usual spandex fair, and gravitate towards the unique, they're more interesting to read and study anyways. and go out there, observe life, watch movies for inspiration :)

hope this helps. best of luck again.
